Byzantine Ivory

The Byzantine period is known for its glorious mosaic art. As a homage to this form of the decorative arts, we have created our own version of mosaic using small capiz shell chips in a radial ivory and gold pattern, giving the placemat a tiled effect. Another version in a silvery gray finish is made from mother of pearl chips. Both are hand-coated with a lustrous resin seal and pair perfectly with our new embroidered Wisteria Napkins in Natural and Gray.
