Deck the Halls
When it comes to festive holiday entertaining we like to put a Kim Seybert spin on traditional motifs. Green holiday trimmings and mistletoe are transformed into jewel encrusted placemats, runners and napkin rings. Bundles of holiday red sparkle are miniaturized into napkin ring embellishments and festive garlands are spun into vibrant embroideries.
Christmas in New York City is unlike no other with the buildings all lit up and the store windows boasting fantastical displays. And if it snows—just magical. This year, I will be staying put in the city for the holidays. I will be throwing a metallic theme dinner party for friends who will be staying with me at home followed by a festive breakfast the next day. How will the tables look? Stay tuned.
Our Cosmos placemats are one of our top sellers. The swirling mix of colors with metallic flecks calls to mind galaxies and worlds beyond. For the holiday season, we've made the Cosmos on an emerald base mixed in with splashes of gold foil and finished with lacquer. Layer them with metallic plates and napkins for a dinner setting that has odes to Hollywood Regency style.
We like to elevate holiday decorating to a certain level of glamorous elegance. This is why we have several beautifully beaded tree skirts and stockings that are as festive as they are stylish. Holiday motifs like mistletoes, ribbons and ornaments are translated into Christmas heirlooms—all of them beaded by hand.
