Oil Stains

  1. Soak up as much of the stain as you can with a paper towel.
  2. Place the napkin on an absorbent towel and apply a spot remover like Carbona Stain Devil on the stains.
  3. Work the cleaner by gently pressing with your fingers or brush to the towel underneath.
  4. Place in the washing machine using a mild detergent like Le Blanc Linen Wash on a gentle cold-water cycle.

Lipstick Stains

  1. To remove lipstick stains, place the napkin on an absorbent clean towel.
  2. Apply a spot remover like Carbona Stain Devil on the lipstick stain. Work the stain remover on the spot by gently pressing with your fingers or by using a soft brush.
  3. Place in the washing machine using a mild detergent like Le Blanc Linen Wash on a gentle cold-water cycle. After washing, place them in the dryer on low heat for 7-10 minutes.

Sauces and Wet Food Spills

  1. If sauces or other wet food accidentally gets spilled on your placemat, wipe it off and pick up any food residue with a clean towel.
  2. Rinse the spot in running water. You can use mild soap with a soft towel for thorough cleaning. 
  3. Gently pat dry both sides of the placemat. Let it dry completely before putting it back in the cupboard with the rest of your placemat collection.

  1. To remove oil stains on a tablecloth, place the spot that has been soiled on an absorbent clean towel.
  2. Apply a spot remover like Carbona Stain Devil on the oil stains. Work the spot cleaner on the tablecloth by gently pressing with your fingers or soft brush to the towel underneath.
  3. Place in the washing machine using a mild detergent like Le Blanc Linen Wash on a gentle cold-water cycle. After washing, place the tablecloth in the dryer on low heat.
  4. Remove from the dryer and lay flat to smooth out the edges.
