Inspired by mosaic formations, the Byzantine Placemat is made from hand-cut capiz shell tiles arranged in a circular pattern. The ivory and golden shells are placed on a wood backing and sealed with resin. This versatile, round placemat mixes well with many different table-setting themes.

- Wipe with a soft damp cloth (and mild cleanser if necessary). Dry with a towel before storing.
- Do not use as a trivet. Do not place hot dishes, cookware or utensils.
